28-04-2016: Emergency support enhancing the operational capacity of FRS to manage the extreme rise in migration flows into Greek national and European territory

The action “Emergency support enhancing the operational capacity of FRS to manage the extreme rise in migration flows into Greek national and European territory” which is 100% reimbursed by the European Commission (Internal Security Fund) has a duration from 1/12/2015 to 30/11/2016 and it consists of 5 co-beneficiaries. The First Reception Service(FRS) is the Coordinator of the action and the intermediary with the European Commission and participates in all six su-actions(First Reception Centers in Lesvos and Fylakio, First Reception Mobile Units in Leros,Chios,Samos,Lesvos). The other co-beneficiaries are the Medical Intervention (Med.In.), Medecins du Monde, Praksis and MetAction which are NGOs and the International Organization for Migration(IOM). There is a signed Grant Agreement (ΝumberHOME/2015/ISFB/AG/EMAS/0007 (ABACNUMBER: 30-CE-0753176/00-93),by theGeneral and Home affairs Directorate of the E.U. and the co-beneficiaries mentioned above. The co-beneficiary NGO “Medecins du Monde”participates in two sub-actions of the reimbursed action(First reception Mobile Unit in Lesvos andFirst reception Center in Lesvos). The NGO “MetAction”participates in two sub-actions(First Reception CenterFylakio and First Reception Mobile Unit in Chios). The NGO “Medical Intervention”(Med.In.) participates in one action (First Reception Mobile Unit in Samos). The NGO Praksisparticipates in four sub-actions(First Reception Center Fylakio and First reception Center in Lesvos, First Reception Mobile Unit in Chios and First Reception Mobile Unit in Leros). The InternationalOrganization for Migration (IOM) participates in one sub-action(First Reception Center in Lesvos).
